Voici une soirée dans un club de jazz imaginé avec des artistes programmés pour cette édition auxquels se sont aussi joints d’autres musiciens et musiciennes dont Ève Risser et Mike Ladd, un quartet avec David Murray, Hamid Drake, Brad Jones, Kirk Lightsey et leur special guest Archie Shepp. Ce club accueille aussi dans son ambiance une rencontre entre Hamid Drake et Élise Caron, entre Edward Perraud et Benjamin Duboc mais aussi des interviews. Bref, voici un moment qu’on aurait pu croire improbable, un soir dans le Val-de-Marne, un moment durant lequel des musiciens de différents horizons se rencontrent et nous révèlent something. En jouant enfin, en jouant vraiment. Voici, décidément, une belle soirée.

Here’s an evening in a jazz club imagined with artists programmed for this edition, who were also joined by other musicians including Ève Risser and Mike Ladd, a quartet with David Murray, Hamid Drake, Brad Jones, Kirk Lightsey and their special guest Archie Shepp. This club also hosts in its atmosphere a meeting between Hamid Drake and Élise Caron, between Edward Perraud and Benjamin Duboc but also interviews. In short, here’s a moment that one might have thought improbable, an evening in the Val-de-Marne, a moment during which musicians from different backgrounds meet and reveal something to us. By finally playing, really playing. Here is, definitely, a beautiful evening.
